The automation testing company use set of libraries, methods, jar files etc. in their framework to automate their tests.

The difference between the framework and library is that the framework defines the structure of the project whereas library is the set of functions that will be called by the code in the project.

Framework has its own defined flow and design which a developer needs to follow by implementing the code. Whereas Library is set of well-defined reusable code or class definitions which are already developed to perform a specific operation.
