Hi Sindhu, i thnk automation for mobile app is not recommended but u can use for your own skills ..as , most of tools are 3rd party so cliet do not recommend that .

Hi,

I was starting exploring Mobile apps some months backs. But my organization drops the plan to work on mobile app so now i am not working on that.

But, for your information I would like to introduce you with one open source tool 'MonkeyTalk' for Andriod and iOS.

You can join the group MonkeyTalk (Click here) for more relevant info.'

Thanks.

Hey,

its too good you came in to mobile platform.. regarding automation there are lots of tools and it is depend on your app too.

It is too easy to do automation, first tell me in which platform you want to do automation - android or IOS??

Hi Sindhu

SeeTest is an automation tool worth looking in to (experitest.com)

  • The same test is run on different devices and different mobile OS
  • SeeTest supports all object identification methods (as opposed to MonkeyTalk) which leads to higher maintenance tests
  • SeeTest also supports a variety of plug ins/programming languages (MonkeyTalk only supports JUnit)
  • SeeTest supports all device functionalities (MonkeyTalk fails to recognize security and system alerts)
