  • There are various in-built functions available and supported by Python interpreter which have great utilization by Developers as well as web application testing services.
For iterating over the number sequence, range() function is used to generate a list of numbers.

The two types of parameters are supported by range() function which should be integer type and positive or negative value:

    1. range(stophere)

stop: It is the no. of integers to generate and starts from zero. E.g., range(3) == [0, 1, 2].

    1. range([start], stop[, step])
      - start: It is the beginning of number sequence.
      - Stop: The upper limit of sequence.

    - Step is the number provided as incrementing factor for sequence.

The range function start from zeroth index.
