  • Nowadays, GIT is utilized by both Development and Software Quality Assurance services (QA services) for version controlling.
    In case, you have committed a code on Git and need to revert the public commit then do the following:

    1. Undo the invalid commits by performing a new commit by using following command “git revert <invalid commit name>”
    2. The ideal way is removing an erroneous file OR fixing the file as a new commit. Then, push the file to remote repository by using the command : git commit -m “message”
