adb in android sdk 8

i have installed android 8 on my machine. But not able to use the adb for same. I have already installed android sdk 7 on same machine for which i am able to use adb. Both these are installed on seperate drives.

Can you please advise on this ?

    Actually, i think you have not select correct path for android 8.

    so please check it....

    & try again!!!!

    If you extract zip file downloaded from android developer site , platform-tools folder will get created. Please check and let me know

  • Thanks Samit. Let me check and will update the outcome.

    Android SDK 7 is working fine, without disabling firewall/antivirus. What should be reason? Though i had disabled the antivirus while installing the SDK.

  • adb use some of TCP ports for connecting to devices. Please disable antivirus / firewall for some time and check again. If it works then you can move adb in exception list. You may also need to add android and emulator into the exception list.
